Health & Safety Consultant - Fully Remote (with Site Visits)

Contract:

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
Up to £55,000 per annum + £5,000 car allowance

Our client is a well-established and growing Health & Safety consultancy supporting organisations across a wide range of industries. They help businesses build safe, compliant, and positive working environments — and are now looking for an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to join their team.

The role

As a Health & Safety Consultant, you'll manage a portfolio of clients, providing practical guidance and hands‑on support across health, safety, and risk management. You'll lead audits, deliver engaging training, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement in safety culture and compliance.

Key responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive health, safety, and fire risk assessments
  • Develop and implement tailored H&S management systems and policies
  • Provide clear, solution‑focused advice and support to clients
  • Deliver engaging H&S training sessions and workshops
  • Act as Lead Consultant for key client accounts
  • Promote and support the use of H&S software and reporting platforms
  • Stay up to date with UK legislation, guidance, and best practice
  • Identify opportunities to develop and grow existing client relationships
About you
  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety Consultant role (or similar client‑facing position)
  • Recognised qualification (NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and best practice
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fire safety qualification(s) (desirable)
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and H&S software systems
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Working towards or already CMIOSH status (advantageous)
