Total Assist Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a leading, independent healthcare provider to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Family Therapist for a specialist CAMHS service in Hertfordshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established multidisciplinary team supporting young people with complex mental health needs and their families within a therapeutic hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver systemic family therapy interventions to young people and their families
* Provide family assessments and develop collaborative care plans
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and occupational therapists
* Facilitate family meetings, therapy sessions, and review meetings
* Offer consultation and support to colleagues regarding systemic approaches
* Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development
About You
* Professionally qualified Family Therapist with recognised systemic training
* Registration with an appropriate professional body (e.g., UKCP or equivalent)
* Experience working with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs
* Experience with in inpatient or CAMHS settings is highly desirable
* Strong communication and collaborative working skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
