Labour Compliance Assistant

Location: Hertfordshire

This large RC Frame and Groundworks Company is looking for an adm/hr assistant to work along side the Labour Manager to help run the labour division.

Your role will include:

* Ensure compliance with national and local labour laws, employment legislation, right to work and regulatory requirements.

* Carrying out compliance checks and approving new supply chain partners.

* Maintain accurate supply chain records, trackers and personnel files.

* Ensure required statutory records are maintained and readily available for inspections.

* Conduct regular labour compliance audits and workplace inspections.

* Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.

* Prepare compliance reports and management dashboards.

* Monitor key compliance metrics and trends.

* Report significant compliance risks and breaches to senior management.

* Stay updated on changes in employment law and labour regulations.

* Review and update policies and procedures to reflect legislative changes.

* Supporting labour manager on moving people site to site, providing site addresses to the workforce

* Company inductions

* Liaising with training department

* Creating Adverts for jobs and compiling CV’s.

Qualifications

* Professional certification in labour relations, compliance, or HR is desirable.

* 3–5 years of experience in labour compliance, HR, employee relations, or a similar role.

* Experience working within a construction labour department would be an advantage
