Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour
 
Our highly established client based in Stevenage are currently looking for a Test & Repairs Technician to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis, with a view of an immediate start after interview process. The successful candidate must have hands on and technical skills, with a strong background and understanding of the electronics industry.
 
Main duties as a Test & Repairs Technician:
Technical:
- Provide a high standard of technical advice and guidance to customer issues via email & telephone
- Oversee technical maintenance and assist with repair operations to ensure that service delivery is not compromised
- Undertake investigations and provide reports in relation to customer issues and feedback
- Review technical information, manuals and processes, updating & improving where relevant
- Liaise with Customer Services, Sales and Production as required for customer queries, ensuring all queries are resolved efficiently  
 
Production:
- Assist in development of new products
- Organise samples, jogs and components
- Pressure & Electrical testing
- Carry our product repairs
- Maintaining tooling to keep in good working condition and report any potential issues
- Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines are strictly adhered to
 
What's needed as a Test & Repairs Technician:
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and maintain excellent communication skills
- Previous experience working within the Electrical industry
- A strong background within Repairs & Testing, showcasing strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and perform a number of different duties on a daily basis
- Good understanding of Technical drawings and Health & Safety standards
