Commercial Account Handler – Independent Insurance Broker Wakefield Competitive salary  benefits Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for a role where you can genuinely become part of the team rather than just another number? I’m working with a well-established independent insurance broker in Wakefield that is looking to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler to its growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, supporting Account Executives and dealing with a varied portfolio of commercial insurance business. The role You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of commercial clients, including:
• Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business
• Preparing quotations and approaching insurers
• Negotiating terms with insurers
• Producing policy documentation and ensuring records are kept up to date
• Supporting Account Executives with the management of their client portfolios
• Building strong relationships with clients and insurer partners
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional cover where appropriate What they’re looking for You’ll ideally have previous experience working within a commercial insurance broking environment and a good understanding of a range of commercial insurance products. You should be comfortable dealing directly with clients and insurers and have strong communication and organisational skills. Cert CII qualifications would be welcomed, but relevant broking experience is more important.
