Lighting Designer

Main Responsibilities

• Produce detailed lighting designs using industry-standard software including Agi
  32, Lighting Reality, Relux and Dialux (training available where required).
• Work closely with clients and contractors to understand project requirements and deliver effective lighting solutions.
• Review and refine existing lighting designs to improve performance, efficiency, and optimise luminaire quantities.
• Interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations associated with exterior and infrastructure lighting.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure technical designs align with commercial and project objectives.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Undertake occasional UK site visits, including work outside normal office hours where required.
• Provide wider technical and departmental support as needed.

• Proven experience in lighting design, ideally within a technical or commercial environment.
• Proficiency in professional lighting design software such as Agi
  32, Lighting Reality, Relux and Dialux.
• Strong understanding of lighting principles, standards, and performance metrics.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements.
• Relevant portfolio material is highly desirable.
