🔧 About the Role

We're looking for a proactive SMT Operator to join our busy Surface Mount Technology (SMT) department. Working closely with the SMT Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Samsung SM Series SMT lines running smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll be supported with training where needed and will work within a friendly, collaborative team that takes pride in producing high-quality electronic assemblies.

⭐ What You’ll Be Doing

* Carrying out visual inspections on components and boards to IPC 610 standards

* Highlighting and reporting any quality issues to the team

* Following set procedures to ensure consistent, reliable production

* Installing, testing and checking components on PCBs

* Operating SMT machinery such as solder paste dispensers, pick & place machines, and reflow ovens

* Performing routine maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently

* Supporting smooth manufacturing processes and stepping in for hand-fit tasks when required

* Working in line with AS/EN 9100, ISO 9001, health & safety and environmental procedures

🎓 What We’re Looking For

Essential

* Good general education, including Maths and English

* Previous experience in a similar manufacturing/production environment

* Strong communication skills

* Focused, patient, and able to spot the smallest details

* Confident problem-solver

Desirable

* Qualifications in Manufacturing or Electronics

* Previous experience working with SMT lines or related machinery
