We are looking for a motivated and reliable Production Line Leader, or someone with the right attitude who is eager to be trained into the role, to join our busy food production team at our crisp manufacturing facility.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. This is a hands-on role where you'll be expected to lead by example, support the production team, and get involved in all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure production runs efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the production line to achieve daily production targets.

  • Motivate and supervise production operatives.

  • Be hands-on and willing to assist wherever required.

  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are maintained at all times.

  • Monitor production performance and minimise downtime.

  • Carry out basic quality checks and complete production paperwork.

  • Work closely with other departments to keep production running smoothly.

  • Promote a safe working environment and follow all health and safety procedures.

About You
  • Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is desirable but not essential.

  • Experience leading a team is an advantage, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well under pressure.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • A proactive, "can-do" approach and willingness to get stuck in.

  • Due to our location, you must have a full UK driving licence and your own transport.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary.

  • Temporary to permanent opportunity.

  • Full training and development opportunities.

  • Monday to Friday working hours no regular weekend work.

  • Opportunity to progress within a growing food manufacturing business.

  • Supportive team environment.

  • Staff benefits (where applicable).

If you're looking for a rewarding role with opportunities to develop your career in food manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.
