About The Secret Space

The Secret Space, Charity Yoga Studio, aims to provide holistic support to members of the community facing physical, mental, emotional or spiritual challenges.

As a Trustee you will strengthen our internal effectiveness and support The Secret Space to deliver our strategic vision, making a huge impact on our beneficiaries, staff, volunteers and the wider community.

You will be part of a close-knit community of staff, volunteers, teachers, therapists and counsellors, and help the organisation grow and flourish.

We are seeking a Trustee with expertise in the following areas:

• Local networking – especially in the health and wellbeing sector
• Buildings and facilities
• IT and telecoms
• Communications, marketing and AI
• Local event fundraisers

As a Trustee you will actively contribute to the effective running of the organisation by:

• Ensuring financial stability and considering investment of its funds
• Implementing the Board’s decisions and working collaboratively with other trustees
• Sharing in the workload and providing valuable expertise in the areas above
• Working in a hybrid capacity, where you can meet personally with board members and remotely as needed

You will be contributing to the health and wellbeing of local residents and the wider community in Hertfordshire. Good local knowledge and an interest in Yoga and holistic therapies would be desirable.
