Inside Sales Representative (m/f/d) – Hertford, UK

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for Kardex in Hertford, UK to join our inside sales team as soon as possible. In this role, you will serve as the link between customers and the field sales team. Our office rules allow 3 days onsite in Hertford, and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities- Processing and qualifying customer inquiries, including initial technical consultation, lead management, and handing off qualified “opportunities” to the field sales team.
- Maintaining and managing CRM data in Salesforce, which includes creating new customer records, managing opportunities, and ensuring high data quality.
- Supporting the field sales team with organizational and strategic planning, tenders, and technical configurations.
- Preparing technical and commercial proposals, as well as cost estimates, price inquiries, and contract preparation.
- Order processing from entry through scheduling and internal coordination.
- Channel management with a focus on acquiring new customers, expanding the existing customer base, and executing targeted sales campaigns.
- Close collaboration with Marketing, Service, and Order Management and more interfaces internal.
- A degree in business administration or comparable training with a strong focus on sales.
- Proficiency with MS365 and experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce and/or Hub Spot.
- Several years of experience in technical inside sales, ideally in a B2B environment.
- In-depth knowledge of standard sales processes, lead management, and quote calculation.
- Basic knowledge and initial practical experience in project management, as well as in collaborating with the field sales team and internal stakeholders, is desirable.
- Strong aptitude for numbers and analytical thinking to support strategic sales decisions.
