Overview
The Kardex Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of dynamic storage, staging, and distribution systems. We are seeking an Inside Sales Support (m/f/d) in Hertford, UK to join our inside sales team as soon as possible. In this role you will serve as the link between customers and the field sales team, with a hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities- Process and qualify customer inquiries, including initial technical consultation.
- Lead management and hand off qualified opportunities to the field sales team.
- Maintain and manage CRM data in Salesforce, creating new customer records and managing opportunities while ensuring high data quality.
- Support the field sales team with organizational and strategic planning, tenders, and technical configurations.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, cost estimates, price inquiries and contract preparation.
- Manage channel strategy to acquire new customers, expand the existing customer base and execute targeted sales campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, service, order management and other internal interfaces.
- A degree in business administration or comparable training with a strong focus on sales.
- Proficiency with MS365 and experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce and/or Hub Spot.
- Several years of experience in technical inside sales, ideally in a B2B environment.
- In‑depth knowledge of standard sales processes, lead management and quote calculation.
- Basic knowledge and practical experience in project management, and collaboration with field sales and internal stakeholders.
- Strong aptitude for numbers and analytical thinking to support strategic sales decisions.
