Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician

Join the team that keeps the UK moving. As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least two years of post‑qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience, you will work within our Patrol division delivering expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.

You’ll be part of the Enfield cluster, covering areas such as Enfield, Edmonton, Palmers Green, Southgate, Wood Green, and Tottenham. Work is organised locally so you can start and finish at home each day.

• Provide quick, confident solutions for flat batteries, tyre changes, and complex fault‑finding on the roadside.
• Deliver outstanding member service, reassuring customers during emergencies.
• Tackle a varied range of jobs each day, from diagnostics to mechanical repairs.
• Use your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least two years’ post‑qualification experience.
• Customer‑focused approach and excellent communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
