Hgv 2 Driver

Location: Hertfordshire

M4 are recruiting HGV 2 drivers (NEW OR EXPERINCED) for our client based out of their Distribution Centre in Hemel Hempstead. The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering products to our B2B customer base. The role involves the handling of heavy items, some weighing up to 250kg, using the manual handling equipment provided.

Drivers will be issued with a PDA device which is used throughout the working day.

Drivers will work alongside a core driver for 2-3 weeks for on-the-job training and support before going out on their own.

An on-site driving assessment and induction will need to take place (successfully) prior to shifts starting.

Working Pattern & Pay Structure

* Monday to Friday

* 05:00 - 06:00 start time each day

* Guaranteed 10 hours per day

* pay rate: £18.07 per hour

Agency Supplier Requirements

Please ensure all candidates submitted meet the following minimum requirements:

* Valid Class 2 (Category

C) Licence

* Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card

* Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience preferred

* No more than 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements)

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties

* Good communication and customer service skills

* Ability to use a PDA device for navigation, product scanning, and electronic job completion

* Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach
