SMT Technician (Soldering)
Mer-Mar Electronics
Responsibilities- Precision soldering on PCBAs.
- Interpret drawings, bills of material, manuals, and other work instructions.
- Work safely to prevent on‑job injuries, including wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses.
- Detect malfunctions of the assembly equipment through visual and audio cues.
- Communicate with the Senior Technician and QC personnel to resolve quality issues.
- Make appropriate entries into Travelers, Time Standards, and the Work Order Document Package.
- Maintain traceability of product.
- 2+ years experience soldering electronic components for PCBAs.
- IPC 610 training.
- JEDEC J-STD-001 training.
- Extra IPC standards knowledge is a plus.
- Familiar with ESD/ MSL requirements for components and PCB/PCBAs.
