Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for a role with variety, progression and the chance to work on interesting projects?
We're looking for a Building Surveyor to join a growing consultancy in Hull, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public-sector projects.
You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, build strong client relationships and develop your technical expertise.
What you'll be doing- Carrying out building surveys, inspections and condition assessments
- Producing clear, professional reports and schedules of works
- Investigating defects and providing practical technical advice
- Preparing specifications and contract documentation
- Supporting project management and contract administration
- Working closely with clients, contractors and design teams
- Managing your own workload and delivering projects to deadlines
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related subject
- Previous UK building surveying experience
- Good knowledge of construction, defects and building pathology
- Strong report writing and technical skills
- Confident communicating with clients and project teams
- RICS qualified or working towards chartership is desirable
