We are recruiting an experienced Machine Operative to join a highly rated manufacturing company based on Melton Industrial Estate (HU14). This is a fantastic opportunity that offers permanent placements with a starting pay rate of £13.92ph raising to £15.36ph after 12 weeks with any overtime paid at premium rates.

MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE DUE TO LOCATION.

Monday to Friday Rotating shifts
Week 1 = Mon-Thur 6am – 2:30pm & Fri 6am – 10:50am
Week 2 = Mon-Thur 2:30pm – 12:10am (off on a Friday)

The Machine Operative role is a Temp to Perm contract that will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that.

As a Machine operative you will be responsible for the manufacturing of shower trays and other bathroom products. Your duties will include:

• Working on various machines to manufacture shower trays
• Working to product specifications to produce various product types
• Operating numerous different machines which will involve continuous heavy lifting
• Interacting in morning meetings whereby the days duties will be discussed and further training provided on individual tasks
• Working at all times with a great attention to detail
• Working within all Health and Safety regulations at all times
• Ensuring work spaces are clean and tidy

To be considered for the position of Machine Operative you MUST:

• Have your own car/motorbike due to location
• Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
• Be willing to learn new skills and duties quickly
• Have a positive, can-do attitude to work and show the willingness to learn and progress
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Great pay rates – starting on £13.92 per hour raising to £15.36ph after 12 weeks
• Overtime rates – the first 6 hours (after 37.5) is paid at Time & ¼ and any hours worked over 43.5 hours in the week is paid at Time + ½
