As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will learn and develop core administration skills within our Plant Administration team while completing your apprenticeship coursework. You will gain a strong understanding of company systems, processes, and operating practices, building competence across a range of administrative activities and developing insight into how different parts of the business operate. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a solid foundation for your future career while contributing to a busy and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the team with day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
- Managing emails, diaries, and arranging meetings.
- Processing invoices, raising requisitions, and placing orders.
- Maintaining filing systems.
- Providing reception support and handling incoming and outgoing post.
- Preparing meeting rooms and arranging hospitality, including refreshments and catering.
- Coordinating travel, hotel bookings, and onsite accommodation.
- Assisting with the organisation of company events and site visits.
- Supporting departmental projects and general administration activities.
- Learn how to use company IT systems, including SAP.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments, promoting EGGER team spirit.
- Complete apprenticeship projects and present progress updates.
- Attend training sessions and ensure coursework is completed on time.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and environmental awareness at all times.
