The role
We’re working closely with a well-regarded 11–18 secondary school in Hexham to recruit a creative and engaging Art Teacher
. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that places real value on creativity, self-expression, and pupil wellbeing.

Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
Work collaboratively with the wider department and pastoral teams
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant UK teaching experience
Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
Confident classroom presence and clear behaviour management
Passion for creativity and inclusive education
Open to supply, long-term, or permanent opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
