The role

We’re working closely with a well-regarded 11–18 secondary school in Hexham to recruit a creative and engaging Art Teacher

£163 – £265.92 per day | PAYE | Depending on experience

• Large, well-established secondary and sixth form setting

• Deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)

• Inspire creativity and confidence through practical and theory-based lessons

• Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs

• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement

• Work collaboratively with the wider department and pastoral teams

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant UK teaching experience

• Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design

• Confident classroom presence and clear behaviour management

• Passion for creativity and inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
