A high-performing secondary school in Hexham, Northumberland is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join the team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

The Role

As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students across KS3 and KS4 lessons
  • Work 1:1 and with small groups to improve engagement and progress
  • Help students develop confidence, resilience, and independence
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and SEND staff
  • Build positive relationships and act as a trusted role model
