Protocol Education is recruiting a Graduate Pastoral Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Hexham
, supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour, confidence and wellbeing.
It's an ideal role for graduates who are considering a future career working with children, young people, psychology, education, mental health or SEND.
What Will Your Day Look Like?Every day will be different, but you could be:
- Supporting a pupil 1:1
- Working with small groups
- Helping pupils manage emotions
- Encouraging positive behaviour
- Supporting classroom learning

- Helping students communicate effectively
- Supporting independence
- Developing positive relationships
- Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
