You will do food preparation and basic cooking under the supervision of a Chef De Partie. Quickly learn the basics on the job whilst assisting in all sections of the kitchen operation as well as continuing to find new ways to learn and develop your skills both in and outside the kitchen.

Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is located in Hexham. Our hotel is a 4*, 141‑bedroom property set in 1000 acres with a 36‑hole championship golf course which has hosted over 20 European and PGA tournaments. The dining options include Hadrian’s Brasserie restaurant, Tommy Craig’s bar, the Claret Jug restaurant and a Whisky snug, and we offer afternoon tea as well as private dining and meetings and event spaces.

The leisure facilities include a gym, pool, sauna, steam room, and a relaxing Elemis spa.
