Hexham Transfer Station, Hexham, Northumberland NE46 4DL - Salary: £14.00 per hour
- Monthly Bonus of £180 payable when KPI’s are achieved.
- Potential remuneration OTE of £30,200
- This is a permanent full-time role.
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
- Hours 07.00 to 18.00 11 hours a day (Average 38.5 hours per week)
- You will be required to work overtime as necessary.
Operating Mobile Plant and if appropriately trained, any other mobile plant in use. To record and report any defects. To ensure the maximisation of recycling and recovery within the facility, whilst minimising the amount of waste that is sent to landfill. To always ensure pedestrian and vehicle segregation.
Key Responsibilities- To manage the operation of loading shovel, stock delivered materials correctly, and load wagons efficiently
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly shovel checks, maintenance, and cleaning as scheduled
- Manage yard safety, guide visiting vehicles
- Carry out litter picking and maintain yard cleanliness
- Recording and report any defects on loading shovel and other site equipment
- Work with HWRC team to keep hatches cleared and operate HWRC effectively
- Cover Weighbridge Duties at Weekend and cover during holiday periods, sickness etc.
- Always work in the manner required to protect the health and safety of all SUEZ employees and visiting drivers and guests
- Ensuring the full compliance with all health and safety, permit and environmental legislation
- Full training will be given for all operations.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Experience of operating Loading Shovel preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
