About our NurseryOur beautiful Hexham nursery has an Ofsted rating of Good, and has a capacity of 111. We have a highly trained team with a passion to ensure that all children reach their full potential and receive the best start in life. We also have excellent garden areas where children can explore freely. Situated in Hexham behind Hexham hospital, we have links to the nearby care home where we visit frequently, as well as links with nearby schools to support children's transitions.
Close to Hexham town centre, we have a bus station only a 5 minute walk away, with a train station approx. 15 minute walk away. Close to shopping centre, with free onsite parking. We offer the option of a 4-day working week, providing greater flexibility and balance.

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner- Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment:
Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning. - Lead Educational
Activities:
Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). - Key Person Role:
Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
- Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
- Skills:
Good communication, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
