**** Position Summary
** The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established service-level agreements. This role serves as a critical liaison between customers, sales teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate the end-to-end order lifecycle, from order receipt through fulfillment and invoicing.
** What You'll Do
*** Process customer orders and purchase orders accurately and within established service-level agreements.
* Ensure customer orders are entered and submitted within required timelines, including same-day processing expectations.
* Review orders for completeness and accuracy, validating customer information, end-user details, product specifications, pricing, and other required documentation.
* Utilize Xvantage and other internal systems to place, track, and manage orders throughout the fulfillment process.
* Research and verify product information, SKUs, availability, and vendor requirements to ensure accurate order processing.
* Coordinate with vendors to confirm inventory availability, order status, shipment schedules, and delivery requirements.
* Monitor open orders and proactively follow up on exceptions, delays, backorders, and fulfillment issues.
* Communicate with customers regarding delivery options, including partial and complete shipments, to support timely order fulfillment.
* Collaborate with sales teams, customer service, logistics, and other internal stakeholders to resolve order-related inquiries and issues.
* Ensure orders are invoiced accurately following fulfillment and customer confirmation.
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and order management processes.
* Deliver a high level of customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
** What You Bring to the Role
*** High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's degree or post-secondary education preferred.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in order management, order processing, customer operations, sales support, supply chain, customer service, or a related operational role.
* Experience processing purchase orders and managing customer orders in a high-volume environment.
