You’re the first smiling face our guests see every time they enter a Flanigan’s, and likely the last as they go on their merry way. You set the tone for the entire experience, greeting all of our friends and family in a warm and welcoming way. You help usher guests to their tables, manage the flow of seating, field inquiries, and greet people on the way out, just as nicely as on the way in.

We’re always looking for the most friendly, hospitable people to join the team.

• Display a cheerful and courteous temperament, maintain a neat and professional appearance
• Greet guests with Flanigan’s "Smile Talk"
• Escort guests to their tables promptly while engaging in "Smile Talk"
• Manage the Wait List efficiently
• Communicate guest questions or concerns to the Manager on duty
• Keep foyer, host/hostess station, and wait area clean and organized, restock menus
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and supplies
• Answer phone calls within 4 rings and direct guests appropriately
• Conclude guests’ visit with a friendly farewell
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and sidework
• Ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Speak, read, and write English fluently
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor and food safety certification programs
• Work a five-day weekly schedule
