JOB OVERVIEW:

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing through the implementation of sales and marketing programs.

REPORTS TO:

Regional Directors of Sales

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:
Front office team, Sales and Marketing team, Housekeeping, all Resort Managers and Executive Offices.

External:
Resort & Resident guests/visitors, the Owners, Travel and Tour Company Representatives and Meeting Planners.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate.
Fluency in English and/or Spanish, Portuguese or Russian. Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
Ability to:
Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Prioritize and organize.
Be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
Follow directions thoroughly
Understand guest’s services and needs.
Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Work with minimal supervision.
Maintain confidentiality of guest/resident information and pertinent resort data.
Experience with Daylight, Sales and Marketing Management Software.
Previous experience in hospitality industry.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

Exert physical effort in transporting 5 to 20 pounds.
Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
Remain in stationary position for 6-8 hours throughout work shift.
Satisfactory communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
