Achieva Credit Union is excited to introduce an Assistant Vice President (AVP), Project Management opportunity.
With strategic initiatives and projects happening across all levels of our organization, we’re looking for an experienced project management professional who knows how to connect people, priorities, and resources and help move complex initiatives from strategy to successful execution.
What you can expect in this role:- Lead, coach, and develop our Project Management team
- Provide oversight and direction for enterprise-wide projects and strategic initiatives
- Drive project and portfolio governance, prioritization, reporting, and resource planning
- Leverage current project management technology and portfolio tools to improve visibility, collaboration, and decision-making
- Partner with executive and business leaders across Achieva to keep priorities aligned and projects moving forward
- 10+ years of progressive project, program, or portfolio management experience
- 5+ years of experience leading teams and complex organizational initiatives
- Experience supporting and leading a Project Management Office
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- PMP Certification Required Or Strongly Preferred
- Financial institution experience strongly preferred
This is a hybrid position with regular on-site work at our corporate headquarters in Dunedin, Florida
. Candidates must live within reasonable driving distance of Dunedin. This is not a fully remote opportunity.
