Description

As a Front Desk Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests while ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” experience!

As The Front Desk Associate You Will
  • Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club; assist them with questions or concerns during check-in.
  • Promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members, offering assistance, and supporting their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
  • Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
  • Answer phones courteously and assist callers with inquiries.
  • Perform membership functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and billing.
  • Conduct prospective member calls and tours to assess their needs.
  • Execute retail transactions accurately and drive sales goals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and amenities, including communal spaces and your assigned area.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and clutter-free following routine schedules.
  • Perform regular walk-throughs of all club areas to address safety, policy, and cleanliness concerns.
  • Address maintenance issues like broken or missing equipment promptly.
Requirements

What you bring to the table:

  • 6-12 months of customer service experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
  • Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals during shifts

This role is subject to a successful background check following offer acceptance, in accordance with applicable laws.

Salary

$13.00 Per Hour
