Diagnostic Imaging Operator, Diagnostic Imaging

Fairview Range is seeking an X-Ray Operator to join our Diagnostic Imaging team in Hibbing, MN.

The DI Operator performs imaging procedures by applying ionizing radiation for an accurate diagnosis. This position will provide both inpatient and outpatient services.

Schedule:This position will work 72 to 80 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8 hours on the day and evening shifts. Weekends as needed.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Performs quality Diagnostic Imaging procedures with accuracy and competency.
• Operates equipment using proper technical factors while providing radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• Ensures the procedure is explained to the patient prior to the exam.
• Assures care of the physical and psychological needs of the patient by maintaining proper positioning and transferring techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Ensure equipment is warmed up and in proper working order.
• Ensures x-ray table and equipment are cleaned on a daily routine basis.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have passed the State of MN x-ray operators test
