• Deliver safe and systemic care for a specified patient population under MD supervision.
• Exercise independent judgment in assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of medical processes within NP or PA scope of practice.

• Provide safe care in a systemic way to include the assessment and overall care management of a specified patient population under the supervision of an Emergency Physician.
• Conduct primary responsibility to assess and manage Emergency Severity Index level 3 patients in the emergency department that do not require monitoring and manage level 4 and 5 patients in the emergency department and urgent care department as needed.
• 1.0 FTE which is 12 shifts per month. Shift time is 9:00 am – 9:00 pm.
• EPIC EMR usage.
• Physician and APP emergency medicine support as well as APP urgent care support.

• Progressive clinical experience.
• Master's degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master's or Doctorate Degree as an Advanced Practice or Graduate of an accredited school of Physician Assistant studies with a Master's or Doctorate Degree.
• Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from MN Board of Nursing. Physician Assistant studies certification.
• Clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a Primary Care or Urgent Care setting preferred.

• Doctorate degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
