Care Connections Processing Assistant (Temporary) – Hickory, NC
Position is temporary, not eligible for benefits, and will last up to 6 months, working up to 29 hours per week.

Location:
Scheduled work hours will fall between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (based on department needs) in the Partners’ Hickory, NC office.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and procedural support to Care Management staff. This employee serves as a valuable member of the team, coordinating a full range of support activities necessary for effective management of the department and waiver compliance. The employee must demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to process improvement. The role is critical for ensuring accountability and operating autonomously with minimal daily instruction.
Roles and Responsibilities Organization / Administrative Support- Screening/routing mail.
- Facilitating the flow of work through the assigned teams and departments.
- Multi-tasking effectively and utilizing organizational knowledge to ensure workload completion consistent with established objectives.
- Taking meeting minutes for internal and/or external meetings.
- Greets and assists visitors, assessing information given and responding with proper information.
- Collaborates and coordinates efforts with other employees to ensure consistent implementation of program practices; informs supervisor if issues cannot be resolved directly.
- Appropriately directs questions/concerns and promotes a positive work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Thoroughly and accurately enters and maintains data in all applicable systems and/or databases following established practices.
- Ensures processes and protocols are followed consistently and shares opportunities for streamlining with supervisor.
- Ensures timely and well-documented data sharing to support waiver compliance and strong customer service.
- Assists in the design of reports for internal and external recipients.
Other related projects and duties as assigned.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of established practices/processes and ability to apply knowledge to resolve problems and inquiries.
- Ability to coordinate a variety of resources when gathering information.
- Ability to analyze and interpret program policy, procedures, or protocols and resolve problems and questions.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required.

- Ability to manage and uphold integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
High school graduate or equivalent and 1 year of administrative support experience. NC residence required.
Education and Experience PreferredAssociate degree in business or office administration, with at least 2 years administrative experience in a healthcare or human services environment.

Salary: $39,000.00 – $49,400.00.
