About The Practice

The practice is a large group that consists of 7 Physicians working as OB/GYN’s and 1 Gynecologist. In addition, the practice has a large support staff of 4 nurse practitioners and 3 certified nurse midwives. This well-established practice has been serving the Hickory Area for almost 50 years and has built up a solid reputation for excellent patient care. Deliveries are performed at Catawba Valley Medical Center which the large health system in the area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established practice with a large physician and staff team in a small-town environment that allows for an excellent work/life balance.

• The practice offers comprehensive women’s healthcare including large range of Gynecological and Obstetrics services. Deliveries and surgical procedures are performed at Catawba Valley Medical Center
• Catawba Valley Medical Center has a Level III NICU Unit, robotics for specialized GYN surgeries and women’s health subspecialists
• Large support staff to assist - 4 Nurse Practitioners and 3 Certified Nurse Midwives
• Practice has built up a strong patient base from working in the community for over 50 years
• Patient Census: 20/daily per OB-GYN
• Collegial environment that focuses on patient care and staff growth. Excellent mentorship available to physicians coming out of residency
• Strong balance of both OB and GYN. Will perform several deliveries and major GYN surgeries every month
