Frye Regional Medical Center’s South Campus is an 81-bed behavioral health hospital providing crisis stabilization for adults who suffer from emotional, behavioral and addictive difficulties.
Position Summary of Major Accountabilities- Direct nurse/patient care duties, therapy procedures, techniques, or patient care
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Treatment team responsibilities
- Assistance with performance of special procedures, techniques, or patient care
- Patient and family teaching, counseling and therapeutic intervention
- Student and staff orientation and mentoring
- Nursing care planning and management
- Communications
- Adherence to all core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices
Supervised By:
Clinical Director of Nursing or designee
REQUIREMENTS, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES
- Current Registered Nurse License
- CPR Certified
- Prior Med Surg. and/or Psych experience preferred
- Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within 3 months.
