Frye Regional Medical Center employs more than 1500 professional and clinical staff. Our medical center is a 355-bed acute care facility which offers a broad array of inpatient and outpatient care. We are looking for a dynamic Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about helping others and is a team player!

Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
• Fills medication carts on a daily basis.
• Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
• Repackages bulk medications.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent Required
• Licenses:
  Registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy in good standing and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern
• Certification: ASCP or NHA Preferred
  
  Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
