• Confirms patient identity per departmental/ hospital policy.
• Transports patients and supplies to designated areas.
• Performs duties following appropriate safety/ infection control practices.
• Maintains and cleans transportation equipment.
• Assists nursing staff with transferring patients from stretcher/ wheelchair to bed.
• Responds to transport requests in a timely manner.
• Follows departmental procedure in transportation of patients using 0 2 tanks.
• Works collaboratively with other staff to provide continuous service.

High School diploma or GED required.

Must obtain CPR certification within six months and maintain thereafter.
