** Requirements and Qualifications for Heart and Vascular Technologist - Cath Lab Tech:**
- ** Education and Certification:** - Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology.

- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) registration.

- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.

- If BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date.

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within one year of employment date.

- *
* Experience:

** - 1 year of experience and proficiency in one of the following modalities upon hiring:
Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Cardiac Cath, or EP (Electrophysiology).

- ** Preferences:** - Copy of Certifications (preferred; BLS, ACLS & PALS must be via AHA).

- ** Other Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine:
Required, with Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.

- References required.

- Valid State License must be at least pending with ETA clearly stated. Additional notes:
Local candidates are accepted without a change to the Bill Rate. No previous charge experience or specific charting system experience required. Meditech Charting Experience is not required.
