The Shipping Assistant position is responsible for receiving finished goods for shipment to various warehouse locations. The role participates in a variety of material‑management functions including securing cartons, storing materials, and setting up departmental equipment.

• Secure cartons for storage
• Load trucks and locate cartons to proper truck
• Unload non‑conforming or returned materials and segregate in hold area
• Tag pallets for proper location and identity
• Provide packers with pallets
• Set up wrapper and additional departmental equipment
• Key in daily production loaded onto trailers
• Wrap each finished pallet
• Assist in departmental programs of safety and housekeeping
