Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit PRN

Overview

Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit PRN

Frye Regional Medical Center – Hickory, NC

Schedule:

8 bed unit, 3 12 hour shifts, 12 week orientation

Responsibilities
  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments
Qualifications
  • Current state RN license
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
  • 1–2 years of previous experience preferred
