Labor & Delivery RN with Mother/Baby Experience Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3X12s, weekday nights from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend. Option to flex to a 4th shift if needed/available; overtime after 48 hours.

Job Description

The Labor & Delivery RN will provide comprehensive care for patients in labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, focusing on mother/baby experience. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills and be knowledgeable in the recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, triage of obstetrical patients, and circulation during C-sections.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of newborns and support maternal health during labor and postpartum.
  • Triage obstetrical patients and monitor fetal heart rates.
  • Circulate during C-sections as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (via AHA), and NRP required; AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate certifications are preferred.
  • Travel experience is preferred.
  • Valid state license must be at least pending.
