Schedule:

3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekdays with every other weekend minimum; option to flex to 4x12 shifts when available with overtime billed after 48 hours
Highlights:
13-week travel assignment in a busy Emergency Department with approximately 160 visits per day
4:1 patient ratio across all shifts
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, and more
Meditech EMR system (experience preferred but not required)
Local candidates accepted with no change to billing rate
CPI/CIC training available onsite for travelers committing to longer than 3 months
Requirements:
Valid RN license for North Carolina (pending acceptable with clear ETA)
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required; 3 years preferred
Previous travel nursing experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through American Heart Association
CPI/CIC certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Skills required:

general emergency care for combined adult/pediatric populations, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, IV insertion and maintenance, IV vasopressors, CVA care, isolation precautions, and triage
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Completion of lab work within 72 hours of contract signing
