Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Charge Neuro Science

Overview

Registered Nurse (RN), Charge Neuro Science – Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, NC. Full-time:
Nights with a $20,000 Sign-on bonus eligible.

Schedule:

3 12-hour shifts; 6:45 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Performs timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments.
Qualifications
  • Current state RN license.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
  • 1-2 years of previous nursing experience preferred.
