ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS Must-Have:
Experience with critical care thinking and good patient experience skills
Description:
Must have CPI or HWC prior to start. Completion of these certifications cannot be done on-site. The facility has an emergency department with a patient bed capacity of 32. The preferred experience includes familiarity with fast-paced emergency departments. Experience with strokes, STEMIs, and trauma is advantageous. The patient care ratio is 1:4 to 1:5. Employees should be energetic and knowledgeable. Stamina is necessary due to the fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills with patients and their families are essential. The population served ranges from birth to end of life. Candidates must have experience using Cerner electronic health records. There may be a requirement to assist in other areas within competency. Dress code is scrubs; inappropriate attire such as hoodies or unsuitable t-shirts should be avoided.
