Turn up the flavor this fall with a career where your cooking makes a difference every day. Kingston Residence of Hickory is hiring Cooks to join our dining services team. From preparing nutritious meals to serving seasonal favorites, you’ll help create dining experiences that bring comfort, wellness, and joy to residents in our Assisted Living and Senior Care community.

• Prepare and serve meals that follow resident care plans, dietary guidelines, and preferences
• Maintain kitchen safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Assist with meal planning, portion control, and kitchen organization
• Contribute to seasonal menus, themed meals, and special requests from residents
• Ensure meals are served on time, presented well, and consistently high-quality
• Help create a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere for residents and families

• Prior cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or food service preferred
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and handling practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
• Dependable, resident-focused, and team-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills and a passion for cooking with purpose
