Pay: $18.00 – $23.50 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate, Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus that contributes significantly to total yearly income.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a PLUS). A Store Manager will be accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store, promote a positive/productive environment, lead, coach, and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, and maximize financial goals while managing customer relations and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
  • Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company‑prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
  • Administer store processes and procedures including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
  • Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
  • Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of all loans issued.
  • Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
  • Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pulling, lifting, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
  • Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
  • Ability to assist customers on the exterior of the building or in exterior storage areas.
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week (hours based on business needs).
  • Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
  • Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Independent, minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
Commission Plan Information

Store Managers receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit. Details are provided during the interview process.
