Level I

Wednesday - Saturday

9pm - 7am

• Perform basic inspection (check fluids, lights, brakes, etc.)
• Perform preventive maintenance on cars, trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
• Responsible for diagnosis and repair of tractors including brakes, suspension, transmissions.
• Responsible for body repair including welding.
• Fuel company equipment.
• Keep garage and all working areas clean.
• Record and enter maintenance and parts information into the computer.
• Work in a safe manner adhering to all MDI, state, and federal safety guidelines.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, and lift to 100 lbs.
• Operate trailer yard spotter as needed.
• Will be required to be on call, as needed.
• Change truck and trailer tires, as needed.
• May be required to do other jobs or tasks, as needed.

• 2-5 years of hands‑on repair and diagnostic experience.
• Air conditioning certified.
• ASE certifications:
  Suspension/Steering, Air brake, Diesel/Gasoline, Transmission/Differential.
• Experience in transmission/differential repair.
• Intermediate computer skills with diagnostic programs preferred.
• Experience with Mack/Detroit engines.
• Basic welding skills.
• Must be able to bend, twist, and lift up to 100+ lbs and pass lifting test.
• Must have own basic tools and tool chest.
