1st Shift Part Time Warehouse Material Handler

Location: Hickory, NC
Pay Range: $16.00 - $16.16 hourly (depends on experience)
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Flexible Scheduling)

This role is responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders by retrieving, stacking, and transporting product within the warehouse. You will use a pallet jack to move pallets, maintain safety and accuracy, and assist in housekeeping responsibilities.

• Retrieve and place product onto designated pallets following pick ticket instructions, ensuring safe handling and stable stacking.
• Transport pallets to various warehouse locations using a powered industrial truck (PIT) – pallet jack.
• Assist with warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as needed.
• Perform daily PIT checklist and report issues to Warehouse Management.
• Correct errors identified by the checker with product quantity or placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned and other miscellaneous activities to support efficient warehouse operations.

• Work in a fast‑paced environment, walking and repetitively lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Collaborate within a team environment and coordinate efficient warehouse processes.
• Read and interpret instructions from a computer screen.
• Attention to detail and distinguish package variations.
• Work in noisy, temperature‑controlled (or non‑controlled) conditions.
• Self‑starter who initiates value‑add opportunities.
• Flexible with schedule changes as business demands.

• Up to 12 months of relevant work experience.
• PIT (Pallet Jack) certification.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Additional relevant experience (up to 12 months).
• PIT certification (Pallet Jack).

• Noisy and non‑temperature controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).
