Position Available: HVAC Quality Control Manager
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive quality control processes and procedures for HVAC projects.
- Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC installations, including equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls, to verify compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
- Identify and address any deviations from approved plans or specifications and work closely with the project team to resolve issues promptly.
- Create detailed quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, reports, and test results.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken.
- Provide regular reports to management highlighting project status, quality performance, and any areas of concern.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to provide guidance on quality requirements and best practices in HVAC installations.
- Analyze trends and data from quality control inspections to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of HVAC installations.
- Remain current with industry codes, standards, and regulations related to HVAC systems and quality control.
- Ensure that all HVAC projects are in compliance with relevant local, state, and national codes and regulations.
- Work closely to ensure the delivery of high-quality HVAC components and equipment.
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in HVAC quality control.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, installation practices, and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools, software, and reporting systems.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
