Job Description
Join a team where technical precision meets architectural excellence. As a Facade/FISP Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding New York City's iconic skyline through rigorous FISP inspections while contributing to the design and execution of innovative building projects. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact assignments, collaborate across disciplines, and grow within a company that values integrity, ingenuity, and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Façade Inspections (FISP) using suspended scaffolds and boom lifts, documenting your findings in clear, detailed reports.
- Develop construction and architectural drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for permit and bidding packages.
- Engage directly with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Support construction administration efforts-including submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field coordination.
- Represent the company professionally when designated as the primary client contact during project execution.
- Participate in project meetings and ensure your technical input drives timely, high-quality results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years experience in the field
- Hands-on experience with façade inspections (especially FISP/local law work) and comfortable working at height.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with construction documentation standards.
- Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and NYC construction codes.
- Effective communicator with a collaborative spirit and client-focused mindset.
- OSHA 30 and valid SST card preferred.
