We are looking for a Medical Office Assistant who will provide the highest quality of patient care by becoming an integral part of the clinical team.

• Prepare exam rooms following protocol, including disinfecting, stocking, and checking vaccinations and medications.
• Review the next day's schedule and ensure all necessary clinical data and prior studies are available for each patient.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and manage patient flow efficiently.
• Collect and document patient information, vital signs, allergies, medications, and current symptoms.
• Obtain additional data from tests and reports, report findings to the provider, and recognize abnormal findings.
• Confirm and clarify written orders before implementing delegated tasks.
• Prepare and process laboratory specimens, track results, and perform quality control.
• Assist with in-office procedures like EKGs and other tests.
• Assist with front office duties, including greeting patients and verifying insurance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Completion of a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• BCLS certification from the American Heart Association (in-person classes only).
• Proficiency in phlebotomy, aseptic techniques, etc.

USD $23.71 - USD $30.21 per hour. Actual pay depends on qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Benefits and incentives are additional.
