Class A Lathe Machinist

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a CNC Machinist with experience setting up and operating 2 to 4, multi-axis CNC lathes. This is a direct hire opportunity with a world leading manufacturer of mechanical components located in Hicksville NY.

• Set-up and run 2-4 multi-axis CNC lathes.
• Inspect own work and make any off-set chances as required to ensure an acceptable first piece.
• Use standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Change any tools required during a production run.
